Project Details

Description

We aim to explore the hidden star formation history of the Universe through observation of the Extragalactic Background Light (EBL) by the sounding-rocket experiment, CIBER-2 (Cosmic Infrared Background Experiment-2). CIBER-2, which has been developed through international collaboration funded by this research grant, was successfully launched on June 7, 2021. In addition to acquiring scientific data during the launch, we also succeeded in recovering the observation equipment of CIBER-2.
