Abstract
A person flow reflects the circulation, location of individuals and travel history based on individual interests. Recently, applications of the person flow analysis for the recommendation got lots of attention. The static data such as census has been the present primary statistical information. Compared with static data, the person flow data enables novel dynamic analysis reflecting time slot information, sojourn time information and transit traffic information. However, studies on the effectiveness of the person flow analysis remain insufficient at present. In this study, the effectiveness of the person flow analysis was verified utilizing the parson trip survey data. The correlation between the time slot population and the number of stores indicated that the person flow data seems more effective than the census data for the investigation of store location.
