Abstract
A space does not exist as a fixed physical object, rather it is constructed by the interaction between people and a space. Therefore, in space design and evaluation, it is important to design not only a physical space, but also people's experience. From such viewpoint, we discuss a framework for analyzing and evaluating space design, integrating kansei evaluation, eye-movement analysis and interaction analysis. We applied this framework to the bank's test branch which was constructed based on a new design concept. From this case study, we could provide some implications for re-designing the space of the test store, and confirmed the effectiveness of our framework.
