Abstract
Based on the previous result of a potassium-fullerene plasma produced by introducing ''Buckminsterfullerene'' particles into a Q-machine plasma, a new-type sublimation oven system with jets on four sides is developed in order to control a plasma structure and achieve an efficient production of the K-fullerene plasma. C-60(-) and K+ ions are observed to be broad radially across magnetic-field lines in contrast with well-confined electrons. The ultrafine-particle plasma with a large fraction of negative fullerene ions distributes almost all over the plasma column, which may be convenient for investigating basic phenomena related to dust or fine-particle plasmas and producing new fullerene-based materials.
